Development and successful work of the Faculty of Business Economics and Entrepreneurship implies planning and realizing of long-term international cooperation consisting of segments defining specific activities. Wishing to offer high quality activities, both to students and to teaching and non-teaching staff, and in accordance with the tendencies in the European and global educational politics, this international cooperation strategy will concretize activities that will lead to the achievement of defined objectives of the Faculty of Business Economics and Entrepreneurship by also gaining new quality – internationalization.
Faculty of Business Economics and Entrepreneurship has had good cooperation with other higher education institutions, faculties and other research institutions in the country and in the region. It is important to internationalize and establish these relationships and to maintain and intensify cooperation with relevant European and world institutions. It has been recognized that the intensity of cooperation has to be more prominent, hence we need to initiate development and implementation of efficient mechanisms for encouraging interinstitutional cooperation, both in the field of research and education. In addition to an intense work on making connections through agreements, special attention should be dedicated to the development of strategic partnerships that would include different kinds of scientific and professional cooperation.
By creating a positive image on the international scene as being a good-quality educational institution contributing to the concept of developing science and research-based activities, the Faculty of Business Economics and Entrepreneurship will make its own concept recognizable on the domestic scientific and professional scene. Therefore, it is necessary to intensify international promotion of the institution by using available media and communication techniques, as well as social networks.
Openness of the Faculty of Business Economics and Entrepreneurship to the social community and world in general is the precondition of its further growth. Openness and exchange among the teaching and non-teaching staff and students of the Faculty of Business Economics and Entrepreneurship and foreign institutions will enable a comparison and critical consideration of the established objectives, hence the opportunity to accept global principles of appreciating science, practice and class realization methods. In this way, we can ensure the achievement of conditions for successful participation in bilateral and multilateral programs of outgoing and incoming exchanges of students, young scientists and teachers, as well as student scholarships financed by the European Union. All participants in the exchange will improve their research competences, gain experience in interaction with participants from the neighboring countries, develop new contacts, make concepts for new projects, strive to use their knowledge for the promotion of their community and consequently promote their scientific and professional progress, hence the progress of the Faculty of Business Economics and Entrepreneurship.
